My remote does not respond to any button press and the lights do not flash anymore.

Technical Questions
Is the Air Mouse Presenter wireless connection encrypted?

No, the wireless signal from the Air Mouse Presenter to its USB receiver in non-encrypted.

I would like to run multiple Air Mouse Presenters in a small area. Will the remotes interfere with each other?

No, the Air Mouse Presenter uses the 2.4 GHz band for radio transmission. This band has approximately 800 channels available for use. These channels are shared by many other devices including Bluetooth devices, 802.11 B/G Wireless routers and hub, plus IP phones. In some cases the setting of the wireless routers and hubs can affect the radio signals of the Gyration devices. Routers and hubs usually have internal setting to limit the channels used so they do not broadcast over the entire bandwidth. Once the SSID is changed the problem should go away (preferred non-overlapping channels are 1, 6, and 11). That being said, the Gyration product uses a technique called interference avoidance to automatically channel away from other devices (including other Gyration products) that start to encroach upon the channel the device is currently using. This is done dynamically and is usually unseen by users of the Gyration product. We have many locations that have multiple units set up and running in close proximity. This is usually in the 4 to 20 unit range.
