Q: How do I register my Air Mouse Mobile product?
A: You can register your Air Mouse Mobile on the Gyration Website (www.Gyration.com) in the Support section.

Q: My mouse does not respond to any button press and the lights do not flash anymore.
A: First, check on the underside of the mouse to confirm that the power switch is on. If it is, then there's a good chance that the batteries are exhausted. Replace the AAA mouse batteries, checking for proper orientation.

Q: The Mouse LED comes on when the activate button is pressed, but the receiver is unresponsive
A: It is possible that your Mouse and Receiver are not synchronized. Connect the devices as shown in your Quick Start Guide.

Q: The Cursor movement is choppy or erratic
A: There could be radio interference. Move the receiver away from other electronic devices (e.g. monitor, speakers, radio, etc.).

Q: My wireless network is causing interference. Can this be corrected?
A: The Gyration 2.4GHz product uses a technique called interference avoidance so it will automatically channel away from wireless networks, Bluetooth devices, etc. The problem with network interference generally is caused by the wireless router or access point being set up to broadcast over the entire 2.4GHz band. There should be set up options in the router or access point to set the broadcast bandwidth to something other than all 800 channels available in the 2.4GHz band. Once the SSID is changed the problem should go away (preferred non-overlapping channels are 1, 6, and 11).

Q: When pressing the Activate button, the LED on the mouse is flashing
A: There's a good chance that the batteries are exhausted. Replace the AAA mouse batteries as needed, checking for proper orientation.

Q: When pressing the Activate trigger, the LED on the mouse is off
A: There's a good chance that the batteries are exhausted. Replace the AAA mouse batteries as needed, checking for proper orientation. Then, confirm that the mouse power button is set to "on."

Q: The cursor moves too fast or too slow
A: The speed or acceleration may not be set properly. Change the cursor tracking speed in the mouse control panel.

Q: When using the Mouse in the air, the cursor is visible but shows no movement
A: It is possible that the gyroscope is not activated. Squeeze or double-click the trigger on the bottom of the mouse.

Q: The cursor drifts off the screen.
A: Generally speaking you should not have problems with the cursor drifting since the mouse was calibrated prior to shipping. If you do experience drift just set the mouse on the charge cradle for 5 minutes and it will recalibrate.

Q: Will the Air Mouse Mobile work with the Gyration GO series product?
A: Although the Air Mouse Mobile uses a 2.4GHz frequency to communicate, it will only interoperate with its USB Dongle counterparts including the Air Mouse GO Plus and Air Mouse Elite devices.

Q: I would like to run multiple units in a small area. Will the mice and keyboards interfere with each other?
A: No, the Gyration Air Mouse Mobile uses the 2.4 GHz band for radio transmission. This band has approximately 800 channels available for use. These channels are shared by many other devices including Bluetooth devices, 802.11 B/G Wireless routers and hub, plus IP phones. In some cases the settings of the wireless routers and hubs can affect the radio signals of the Gyration devices. Routers and hubs usually have internal settings to limit the channels used so they do not broadcast over the entire bandwidth. Once the SSID is changed the problem should go away (preferred non-overlapping channels are 1, 6, and 11). That being said, the Gyration product uses a technique called interference avoidance to automatically channel away from other devices (including other Gyration products) that start to encroach upon the channel the device is currently using. This is done dynamically and is usually unseen by users of the Gyration product. We have many locations that have multiple units set up and running in close proximity. This is usually in the 4 to 20 unit range.

Q: What do the different lights on my mouse mean?
A: The 3 orange lights indicate the battery level.
The blue light flashes when trying to connect to the USB receiver.
The blue light is steady when used on the desk or in the air.

Q: How do I configure my right mouse button to go to a previous slide in PowerPoint?
A: There are a few ways to accomplish this;
In the Motion Tools software, Presentation tab, assign the “Previous Slide” and “Next Slide” actions to a Media Button or a Gestures/Swipe motion. This will make the PowerPoint slides go forward and back using one of those controls.
In PowerPoint select Tools, Options. From the view tab unselect the checkbox that says "show menu on right mouse click" or "Popup menu on right mouse click". The handset will advance slide on a left click and go back one slide on a right click.
Office2007 – Select the Office button (upper left corner); from the menu select PowerPoint options. Select Advanced, in the Slide Show section uncheck the “Show menu on right mouse click” box. The handset will advance slide on a left click and go back one slide on a right click.
