Movea Names Innovations 2009 Honoree at international CES Press Interview
Gyration Air MouseTM with MotionSenseTM selected for Design and Engineering Award
New York, NY, November 12,2008 - Movea, Inc., the leader in motion-sensing technology for business communications, home entertainment and mobile computing, was honored today by the Consumer Electronics Association(CEA) for its new Gyration Air Mouse with MotionSense technology. The compact, wireless mouse was created with the mobile professional in mind and is designed to work in the air or on a flat surface such as a desktop. The Air Mouse was chosen in the Computer Accessories category in the International CES Innovations 2009 Design and Engineering Awards. Products entered in this prestigious program are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the trade press to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products.

The Air Mouse will also be displayed at the Innovations 2009 Showcase, booth #72062, Innovations Plus at the Sands Expo and Convention Center/The Venetian. Products chosen as an Innovations honoree reflect innovative design and engineering of the entries. Examples may include the first time various technologies are combined in a single product or dramatic enhancements to previous product designs. The Innovations entries are judged based on the following criteria:
- Engineering qualities of the product, including technical specifications and materials used
- The product’s intended use/function and user value
- Aesthetic and design qualities
- Unique and novel features
- Contributions to consumers’ quality of life
- Impact on the manufacturer’s business model
